The herein general conditions complete the order signed by the Client.

Article 1 – Object

The object of the herein general conditions is to specify under which conditions Easy Life Service offers its services to persons travelling to Shanghai, as part of their professional or private life (the ”Services”).

Article 2 – Services

The Services agreed by the Client and their duration are specified in the Order.
Any additional service to the initial Order shall be the object of an additional Bill.

Article 3 – Reservation  conditions – Payment

The Services reservation shall only be taken into account after Easy Life Service receives the Order, duly signed by the Client and full payment of the services to the order of Easy Life International Holding Limited.

The Services are paid at the time of reservation. The payment is made by Visa or Master card on Easy Life International Holding Limited’s website (http:/www.easylifeservice.com.cn – secured payment by HSBC). Extras shall be paid at the end of the journey by Visa, Master Card or American Express credit cards.
Some expenses such as car parking or tolls are not included in the packages offered and shall be borne by the Client. In general the Client is invited to check his / her Order and principally the adequacy between his / her needs and the range of the agreed Services.

The Client shall reserve the Services at least 7 days before and for a minimum 3-day period. Any order placed less than 7 days prior to arrival shall be final and cannot be modified.
It is understood that Easy Life Service can only undertake the orders according to the available personnel and reserves the right to refuse any order.
The Orders received by fax, e-mail (scanned copy) or any other technological means agreed by the Company shall have an evidential value.

 

Article 4 – Cancellation fees

Any cancellation from the Client, for any reasons whatsoever (including illness, accident ….) shall imply the following cancellation fees:
100% of the order amount if the cancellation occurs less than six days before the arrival date as specified on the Order.
0% if the cancellation occurs more than 6 days before the arrival date as specified on the Order.
In case of cancellation during the Client’s journey for any reason whatsoever (including illness, accident ….) Easy Life International Holding Limited shall retain the amounts paid by the Client and shall not be required to pay any refund or compensation.
 

Article 5 – Details on the Privileged Service rate

The Privileged service rate is 260 € per day except partners discount. Such rate includes a car, 80 accumulable  km per day, one escort and  one driver for 8 hours per day. Extra kilometres shall be charged 0.5 €  per kilometre, additional hour for using the vehicle and / or the escort shall be charged 15 € per hour. These extras shall be paid at Easy Life Service’s offices before the Client’s return. Such rate applies for one to four persons per car.
It should be noted that if the Client opts for “business assistant”, she shall substitute the escort who is not charged for .

Article 6 – Force Majeure

By force majeure, is understood any event external to the parties presenting at the same time an unpredictable and insurmountable character that would impede Easy Life Service or the service rendering  implied in the execution of the trip, to carry out all or part of the obligations as provided for in the Order.

It is expressly agreed that it will be the case principally in case of transportation means, air traffic controllers strike, insurrection, riot or any prohibition enacted by government and public authorities

It is expressly agreed that the force majeure suspends, for all the parties, the execution of their mutual obligations.

In addition each of the parties shall bear any expenses pertaining to them  and resulting from the case of force majeure: consequently, the Client shall bear alone the extra expenses that may be incurred in order to continue the journey  following the occurrence of a force majeure case.

Article 7 – Client’s obligations

The client undertakes to observe the local regulations and customs in force. In the event of a problem with one of the persons appointed by Easy Life Service, the Client shall refer as quick as possible to Easy Life Service. Easy Life Service shall then decide to substitute the appointed person as soon as possible according to the availability of personnel.

Article 8 – Obligations of Easy Life Service - responsibilities

Easy Life Service may not be liable for delays of transportation under circumstances beyond its control, including but without limitation in case of traffic jam, closed road, detours, floods.
In the event of vehicle immobilisation during the journey for any reason whatsoever (breakdown, accident…) Easy Life Service shall endeavour to ensure the continuity of the journey with another vehicle of its choice as soon as possible.

In any case Easy Life Service shall not be liable for the loss, disappearance or theft of valuable objects and personal effects left by the Client in the vehicle at his/her disposal or entrusted by the Client to the personnel at his / her disposal.
In case of unavailability of the personnel at the disposal of the Client, for any reason whatsoever, Easy Life Service undertakes to ensure the substitution by personnel of an equivalent level as soon as possible. Easy Life Service shall not be liable for the penalties and/ or fines possibly imposed to the Client due principally to the disregard of the sanitary and / or customs regulations in the People’s Republic of China or in the country of departure as well as the consequences that may result therefrom.

Article 9 – Exclusions

The services usually covered by assistance agreements (including but without limitation luggage loss, air flights delays, travel information, assistance in case of robbery, loss of personal identity documents and means of payment, lawyer assistance) are excluded.

Article 10 – Insurance

Easy Life Service’s liability shall be limited to the clauses and amounts of its insurance policy. The Client has the faculty to subscribe a top up insurance borne by by him / herself and at his / her costs. It should be noted that it is strongly advised to the Client to subscribe a repatriation and personal accident insurance which are not covered by Easy Life Service.

Article 11 – Governing law

The herein agreement is governed by the laws in force in the People’s Republic of China.
